The video above is an edited clip of my teams entry for the De Gruyter collaboration in 2021. The look in this video was achieved by using Cinema4d 3d models in After Effects with the Trapcode Form plug-in.
Through cooperations with Lette Verein Berlin, students get an opportunity (of plenty) to gather first-hand experience in working with a client as well as applying their skills in non-fictional projects.
And De Gruyter is one of those clients regularly.
De Gruyter is an independent academic publisher founded in 1749.
Despite their traditional roots, De Gruyter embraces the digital age to provide cutting-edge research for an ever-growing global audience.
The overall purpose of this project was to design a marketing campaign for the APAC regions, while sticking to De Gruyter's already established corporate identity. For this we worked in groups of four from concept to pitching our work to the client over the course of a few weeks.
