My class GRAFIK22 graduated in Lette Verein's Graphic Design after a short journey of three years in July 2022 and we organized an exhibition for our graduation and graduation specific projects. We started planning around August 2021 and started concepting during a trip in October 2021. Eventually a concept was set in stone and we named the exhibition aroma (german = flavor). We formed teams working on a different subjects. I was part of our design team of six and was mainly responsible for 3d and animation stuff. That being said - many people helped out in creating 3d objects which I am very grateful for, as cleaning up the 3d scans of us, rigging everyone and animating each was an insane timesink in itself.

Whenever anyone had questions about modeling, texturing, subsurface scattering, lighting, rendering - I loved helping out and still do. I had so much fun with my team experimenting with different models, colors, textures and animations during our early exploration phase.

One huge part of our concept was to use different 3d models (rendered in either 2d or 3d) and eventually ourselves(!) as 3d scanned models to indicate an individual taste, or touch, for design.
Additionally, we initially intended to 3d print ourselves as little figurines in a bottle but had to discard this idea just before we finished, because, as it turns out, 3d scanning people with a phone or tablet can lead to creating a few really wonky looking 3d models with some special mutations such as extra limbs. Or missing limbs. Or holes in ones face. In the end that lead to us apparently not being able to correctly print everyone.

While a few moments have been pretty stressful and crunch-timey for everyone, Especially near the end, i still had a great time. Love you guys, very proud.
